Washing and reclamation of polyethylene terephthalate plastic (PET, such as used water and soda containers) is being performed in the U.S., in an environmentally friendly and cost effective way, by teaming two pieces of New Earth Systems’ proprietary equipment – the patent-pending Washing Elution Rotary Machine, or WERM™ unit, which cleans dirty PET, and the patented Centrofier™ unit, which cleans the wastewater generated by the washing process.
