  • New Earth Systems is an environmental technology company that develops and implements systems for recycling plastic packaging. The Company is poised to change the economics of plastic recycling with a product that is environmentally conscious and drives a financially profitable business model. The Company has developed a proprietary process to recycle polyethylene terephthalate (PET) one of the most common types of plastic packaging. This system converts scrap PET into a commodity-grade end product at a commercially viable cost and with a minimal carbon footprint.
  • PET is a versatile plastic resin that is used most commonly in water bottles and other beverage containers. Americans will consume 100 billion PET bottles this year. Recycled PET can be remanufactured into a wide variety of end products, from fiber for clothing to automobile parts and of course bottles and other food packaging. Recycling consumed PET bottles would save up 40 million barrels of oil per year, eliminate 2.3 million tons of greenhouse gas, and save 22 million cubic yards of landfill space.
  • Current market conditions, fuelled by a growing consumer preference for recyclable/sustainable packaging and legislative initiatives mandating their use, has resulted in substantial demand for high-quality recycled PET. Large retailers such as Wal-Mart, Costco, and Best Buy have begun demanding recycled content packaging from suppliers. In California, the leading processors of plastic packaging forecast demand for recycled PET to significantly surpass available supply in 2009-2010 and beyond.
  • New Earth Systems is well positioned to meet this growing market demand with a highly efficient and environmentally friendly process. The Company's product has already received approval from top buyers in California. Looking ahead, the Company will implement its unique technology at strategically located "Regional Processing Facilities" around the United States and abroad. The first of these facilities has been built in Canoga Park, California and is engineered to process up to 50 million pounds of PET annually. The Company's five-year plan anticipates the construction of several additional strategically located facilities. The Company has developed a management and sales team with decades of experience in the plastics industry to implement this growth strategy.
